Glitched Gift+2 New Items+ Spotted Plushies

Hey jammers it's me Fusion or icypaw97 whichever one is fine I'm one of the holiday authors of the AJGC and I'm excited to be here, anyways here are today's Daily Jamaaliday Gift, 1 diamond and some sort of mask that appears to be glitched because it appears to have no name.

 

Well here is how the mask looks like:

There are 2 new items today, its the Candy Bow and Arrows for a price of 2 diamonds located in the Diamond Shop which if you were creating a look with today's Jamaaliday Gift I'd recommend that you use this item.

Today's other new item is the Jamaaliday Kite in Jam Mart Clothing Shop for a descent amount of 400 gems.

And today's returning item is the Snowman Thrones in Epic Wonders for 1,250 gems it was first released last year.

Moving on remember the plushies we once saw in the Fantasy Castle that AJHQ had decorated well these plushies are now available in the Claw.

  

Today's leaving item is the Pilgrim Hat in Jam Mart Clothing Shop since the Feast of Thanks is over.

Just a Note About Today's (Glitched?) Jamaaliday Gift

Hey jammers! Panda here! ^.^

When I opened up my Jamaaliday gift this morning, this popped up:

It had no name, but I didn't think that really meant anything important. I mean, my Animal Jam glitches a lot, so... whatever, right?

But then I checked it out in my inventory, and it said that it was called "Candy Cane Socks." Weird, huh? I just assumed that the item was again glitching and that it took the name of the item to the right of it (blue candy cane socks).

So I refreshed the page and checked again, and found that it's new name was #6389. Really weird. 

But when I tried the item on, it didn't appear as anything. 

This might be something done by accident by AJHQ, but I'm not sure. It also might be patched soon. If something similar happens to you, then make sure to comment below so I can make sure that I'm not losing my mind. XD

How to find GLITCHES!

Hey everyone! I'm Icey, and I'm a guest author on the AJGC! I'm a huge fan of the blog and I'm absolutely ecstatic to be here. I run my own blog about glitches in Jamaa- aptly named the "Jamaa Alpha". Feel free to contact me there if you'd like!

Anywho, since I have three days to post, I thought I might as well base the posts around a specific theme. I'm absolutely obsessed with the technical aspects of Animal Jam, so I decided to base my posts around glitches and the BETA days of the game (which I participated in, whoop~!)

Before I begin the explanations, today's Jamaaliday item is the Snowman In The Box!

Anywho, for today, I wanted to show everyone how to find glitches in-game!

Finding glitches is important for the game's health. By finding and reporting bugs, you're making AJ a better place for everyone, and you're making it less worrisome for the developers. Plus, it can be a lot of fun if you do it right.

Before we begin, I wanted to mention that there may be technical lingo in this post you aren't familiar with. I will try my best to flesh out these terms and explain them, but if anything's confusing, please do leave a comment so I can elaborate.

Alright. Without further hesitation, let's jump right in, shall we?

The first (and easiest) way to find glitches is to play the game itself. By paying attention and playing the game normally, you will notice things that don't quite fit. This is how I find the majority of my glitches. Just a few days ago, I encountered this:

You wouldn't have noticed this if you weren't paying attention! For all reasons, if you're interested in glitching the game, paying attention at all times is the first step.

Purposely glitching the game is the next step. This has become more difficult over the years, but it's still possible. Paying close attention to how other glitches work is key here.

For example, a large portion of the major glitches nowadays occur underwater, as it is the most underdeveloped area of the game, and is consequentially the most glitchy. By studying the way other glitches work, we can adapt them into new glitches.

For example, phasing into walls are the most common and well-known glitches, and were called Skyway Glitches (a term coined in late 2011). They allowed players to walk into the sky easily, and explore previously unknown areas (such as the elephant above the temple of trivia)

I decided to combine this with the door phasing glitch (phasing, a term used to describe sliding into inaccessible areas for a point in time) and a Skyway Glitch. This is what happened:

Wow. Umm... I wasn't expecting that. Awesome. In this glitch, we actually passed the teleportation point and started walking off the stage. We can walk around on the pathway!

Jamaaliday Gift #3 + Jamaaliday Earmuffs + Phantom Snow Tree!

Hey jammers! It's Dew here, filling in for thegreatanimaljammer, who appears to not have created a post yet. Sorry about that! I haven't posted on this blog much before, due to a small hiatus on my part from the internet, but I hope to be posting more soon. This post will be a little rushed, but I have homework to do and a band concert. c:

AJHQ sure is releasing a lot of items for December :o. The Phantom Snow Tree isn't my kind of item, but I'm sure it would be an amazing addition to a phantom or snow themed den! I also found that the Jamaaliday Earmuffs and Candy Cane Socks go together really well on the returning deer. Where do you think the deer went while they were gone?

Jamaaliday Gift #2 + Giant Present Pile + Snow Globe Hat!

Hey jammers! It's Panda here again! ^.^ This post is coming to you rather early because I stayed home sick today. >.< It's a pretty minor cold though, so I feel basically fine. Plus I get to miss band class. :P

Before I rap up this post, I just wanted to show you this wacky jammer I found in Jamaa Township yesterday:

Weird or not? :P If you can't see, there is a polar bear wearing a bread hat in the background of this image, and two wolves were arguing over who got to eat this poor bread-hat-clad pobie. There was much more weirdness that occurred after this picture was taken (such as the wolf saying, "Munch, munch, you taste good!" and the other wolf tackling the first wolf to the ground and screaming, "WHY YOU EAT MY BREAD?!?!?!" but I didn't want to waste too much of the post talking about them. :P)

Jamaaliday Gift #1 + Jamaaliday Light Strand! (Also the Jamaaliday Posting Schedule for Authors)

Hey jammers! It's Panda! And I'm here today with an... (gasp) updates post? What? I haven't done one of these in ages, and it feels so odd to be doing on again. But as I just invited some of the new authors to the blog a few minutes ago (#procrasination) I haven't posted the Jamaaliday posting schedule yet, so I decided to do today's post myself.

The Jamaaliday advent calendar of gifts was first introduced today! ^.^ You'll see this screen when you log in:

When you click on the first gift, you'll receive a holiday welcome mat! Here's how it looks:

It's a new Jamaaliday advent item! I'm hoping that this means that AJHQ might add in some other new holiday advent gifts! But I hope that they keep some of my favorite items from last year as well! ^.^ What do you hope that they'll put in the advent calendar this year?

In Jam Mart Furniture there's a new item as well--the Jamaaliday Light Strands. These come in different colors (speaking of which: isn't it awesome that non-members can now change item colors?) such as red, green, yellow, blue, white, pink and flashing multi-colored. 

What I especially love about this item is how versatile it is. It can be hung up anywhere in your den to add a bit of Jamaaliday flair! ^.^

Also, it's non-member. Is it just me, or does it seem like AJHQ has begun to give non-members more privileges. Perhaps the Jamaalidays and Feast of Thanks holidays have put them in a more generous mood. ;) Let's hope that some of the other members-only features soon become non-member as well! (I'm looking at you, third animal slot! :D)
