So, I was thinking about how the rest of June is going to play out for me, and how I'm going to spend my free time, and I realized that I wouldn't be able to spend any time working on this blog. I have countless final exams, local assessments and end-of-the-year class presentations (in which you have to get up in front of the class, talk for 10 minutes about super confusing science-y stuff and the teacher stares at you the whole time with a really sour expression on their face and grades you really harshly... it's a fun experience. :T) and I have to prepare for all of them. >.<
Because of that unfortunate fact, I'm afraid that I won't be able to write posts for this blog or participate in this community until the end of my school year.
My school ends somewhere around June 20th (maybe later... I'm not quite sure) but until then, I'll be absent from this blog for awhile.
However, Ineffable will probably still be posting her EPIC fanfictions, Cosmic will still be posting her commission coupons (which are super useful!!!) and other notifications up here, so it won't be a totally lonely place! :P
On a happier note, I have some good news! For the next year of my school, there is a normal math class and an accelerated algebra class. I've been really wanting to get into the algebra class because I find that the regular math curriculum is slightly boring, and I also love algebra (am I a nerd or what? XD) more than most math topics. However, my confidence in my math abilities has really faltered over the past 2 years, and I was pretty sure that my test grades (an average of about 94%) weren't good enough to get into the class (because the average test grade they required you to have was 97%). Also, to get in you also had to do super well on the NYS Placement Test. The placement test was this super scary exam we took last month, and apparently more than half of the kids failed the exam, and nobody had ever gotten a perfect score on it. (Talk about pressure, no?) Anyways, we got our math placement for next year via an email two days ago, and I actually got into the class! It has been one of my daydreams for awhile to get in, as it would be super fun, and would really boost my math confidence. I'm super happy to get in, and to make things even better, most of my friends will also be in the class with me! Yay for not being a total loner! XD
Anyways... sorry if this post had really bad grammar and spelling and whatnot. I'm really tired, since I was at my friend's bat mitzvah over the weekend. >.<
So... bye for now? I might pop in every week or so until I officially come back near the end of the month of June, but until then...
Ciao, and don't forget to JAM ON! :D

Good luck with your exams. Let me know how things went when you get back from school! ;)
ReplyDeleteThank you for the support! :D It means a lot!
DeleteI hope to still be able to read all of the AJ blogs in this epic community while I'm on my little break, however, so I'll be able to stay updated with your AJW! :D
I hope you pass your exams! Me and the rest of the Management Team will take on the blog for you, like handling commissions and making posts.
ReplyDeleteThank you so much!!! <3 You are such a kind and compassionate person... I don't know how all of us were fortunate enough to meet you!
DeleteAnd I would so greatly appreciate it if you and the AJGC Management Team would handle some blog affairs while I'm on this little break! :D You are all such great and helpful people!
Good luck on your exams! I really don't know how exams feel since I am homeschooled and all but I bet they are pretty stressful. >.<
ReplyDeleteLOL about the end-of-the-year presentations! XD Your teacher sounds so kind... :P
Can't wait till you come back, school free hopefully. XD Bye for now, my pandaish friend! ^.^
Haha, you're lucky that you don't have to experience the horror that is exams... XD They're not all that bad for me, since I don't get stressed over tests very often, but for most people they're super stressful and scary. >.<
DeleteAnd yeah... my teacher is actually pretty nice. :) (<-- LOL JK, she's awful...)
Yay, I can't wait to come back to this blog without any homework or studying to do! :D So refreshing...
I hope you do good in school. Good luck! It's always nice to take a break from the Internet. Trust me. XD Exams are awful TBH. D:
