Tips on Writing Fanfictions!

Hey jammers! Today, I'll be straying from the usual topic of writing my own fanfictions and give you guys some tips on writing your own! I'll be going through this step by step. I hope this helps!

  1. Decide on the basic structure of your story. This includes a general theme and maybe some character drafts.
  2. If your unsure about how good your grammar is (this is if you're writing with a pencil and paper, not writing digitally) make sure to practice.
  3. If you think your grammar's fine but want to enrich your vocabulary, here are a few sites that might help you out:http://www.alphadictionary.com/articles/100_most_beautiful_words.htmlhttps://www.buzzfeed.com/danieldalton/bob-ombinate
  4. Now it's time to start writing! By now you've probably developed your characters and thought a bit deeper about the fanfiction. If you want a mysterious effect, perhaps have a prologue that gives a vague explanation of an event that leaves readers hanging.
  5. Suspense is one of the best things to include. If you want people to read the entire story, you can't have the first 5 pages be boring. Try to grab their attention with something remarkable.
  6. Make sure as you near writing the middle of the story you still continue to add excitement. Sure, the beginning might be interesting but nobody wants it to develop into something dull.
  7. You're almost done! If you're making a part 2, end it on a mysterious note. Cliffhangers will ensure that some people will read the next part! If you're not planning on making a second story to go with it, satisfactory endings will please readers further, but how you write your story is up to you!
I hope this helped! Also, I want to give a warm welcome to Spiritpaw, AJGC's newest author! Spirit even made me a beautiful signature!

Hi guys! I am so happy you've decided to share your opinions on AJGC! Make sure to read/follow the following bullets:
- You guys probably know- no swearing, not even ***, no mocking or making fun of others and no judging.
- Free commenting (no moderation) is a privilege, if I see 1 inappropriate comment, comment moderation is turned on for all of you, sorry, I just don't want this to be an unsafe environment.
- If you are caught being mean to another viewer, you will have all of your comments deleted. You only have 2 chances before you are banned from ever having your comment appear again on the blog.
- I have absolutely no problem with you advertising your own blog/site in the comment section, I just request that you write an actual comment about the post or page before advertising your own site. Flat out advertising comments will not be deleted, but they make the comment area more of a spammy place- get what I mean?
- Please do not request diamond or membership codes. If you are looking for gem codes, then make sure to check out our Codes page. But if I catch you threatening another jammer, demanding a membership or diamond code, I will turn on comment moderation.
- When commenting anonymously, you must sign your username.
Sorry if these rules sounded harsh, I'm sure most of you already know the commenting rules, they are virtually the same for every blog.
Happy commenting!
